6 WAYS TO LEARN TO LOVE YOURSELF

GO ON A SOLO ADVENTURE

You don’t have to travel across the world to do this, well if you can and want to go for it but just go somewhere alone for the day, take yourself to the beach or into the city. You have to find out for yourself what the world is like. It is ok to be alone and enjoy new things with just yourself. You’ll truly feel peaceful and you’ll figure out how you feel within yourself. Be fearless, you must be brave and showing that you have a little rebellion can be a good thing. Take the leap and always adventure.

EXPAND YOUR INTERESTS

Why don’t you try something new this weekend? Try out a new hobby, do things you’ve never done before. Get out of your comfort zone, this is where you will grow when you do something that scares you. Jumping out of your mundane cycle of life, will boost your motivation and overall love for life and ultimately yourself. When you do things that make you feel good, you start to love yourself more!

GET EMOTIONALLY HONEST

Be honest with yourself and how you feel about your life and you’ll start to be open minded about how you can figure out what you truly want. Start with the things that make you feel good about yourself and make you happy and then find ways you can do more of those. In the process you’ll then find more things that make you feel good. It’s ok to not be happy with how things are going, but a simple shift in your mindset allows you to accept it’s all in our control.

TELL PEOPLE YOU LOVE THEM

Radiate love and posItive energy always, tell your friends and family you love them, do thoughtful and nice things for people. You’ll find that in return the universe will find ways to bring this love straight back to you in mysterious ways. Also, doesn’t saying and doing nice things for people make you feel good about yourself? It’s a win win. Make someone smile today and tell people you love them. You never know how much someone needs to hear it.

TAKE TIME OUT FOR SELF-CARE

Self-care isn’t just face masks and getting your nails done. It’s truly treating your body like a temple and loving every inch of it. This can be feeding it with the right nutrition,

exercising, journaling your feelings, wearing things that make you feel good, practicing affirmations like “I look and feel great today”, staying off your phone and reading a book instead. Self-care is anything that makes you feel good. Only you know what that is, try new things out and look after your mind, body & soul.

INVEST IN YOUR SLEEP

Our sleep cycles are so important and if disrupted it can affect our whole mindset, we can feel anxious, irritable, sad etc. So make sure you get enough sleep each night. If you struggle with sleep, there are plenty of methods that help such as warming your body up before bed (baths or showers), lavender essential oil to relax, fresh bed sheets or pjs, a clean room, guided bedtime meditations etc. Whatever you do just get a good nights sleep.

Nothing beats the feeling of having woken up from a really good nights sleep, you feel amazing about yourself!
